Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated 4 November 2026

How cancellations, refunds and disputes work on Olorsh.

1. Your payment is held until completion

When you pay on Olorsh, the provider is not paid straight away. Olorsh pays the provider only after your order, booking or rental is completed. This is what makes refunds possible when something goes wrong.

2. Cancelling

Every listing shows its cancellation terms before you pay. Unless the listing says otherwise, you can cancel a booking or rental for a full refund up to 24 hours before it starts. Cancellations after that follow the listing's terms.

If a provider cancels, or cannot deliver what you paid for, you get a full refund.

3. When something goes wrong

If an item is not delivered, is not as described, or a service was not provided properly, open a dispute from your order, booking or rental page. You can do this before completion or within 7 days after it. Add a description and any photos or evidence.

  • As soon as you open a dispute, the provider's payout for that transaction is put on hold.
  • The provider is told and can give their side.
  • The Olorsh team reviews the evidence and the transaction history and decides the outcome: a full refund, a partial refund, the service redone, or the payment released to the provider.

4. How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the Mobile Money wallet or card you paid with, through Paystack. Once approved, a refund usually arrives within 10 working days, depending on your bank or Mobile Money provider.

5. Cars for sale

Cars listed for sale are enquiries only and are not paid for through Olorsh, so this policy does not cover them. Always inspect a vehicle and its papers before paying a seller.
